Parent to Parent
By Dr. Pamela Higgins Saulsberry
Parenting is not an innate skill. Parenting is a job! A 24-hour, 7 day a week job,
and all who undertake it need proper information and preparation, “the tools”, to successfully
navigate the parenting journey. Parenting, or people making, requires different tools at every
stage of human development, from infancy to adulthood. So, parenting skills, or tools must
adjust at every stage and with every child. It’s difficult. People who are parenting need support.
Parenting: Real Talk does just that by using “Parent to Parent” to provide small “morsels” of
information to “chew on”. If, after your appetite is wet and more information is desired, Parent
to Parent will tell you where to get the whole meal!
Chew on This! — Spoiling vs. Nurturing!
It is impossible to spoil children, especially babies with too much nurturing, love, attention, or time.
